Hudson Plant & Excavation Ltd of York were first established in 1997 as a Father and Son team, since then the father and son team has moved down a generation and hopefully the tradition will continue for many years. Since this humble beginning HP was one of Yorkshires premier plant hire firms and over the last 4 years has developed it’s ground working team, taking on numerous Projects.

HP has now found its feet, gaining a successful reputation in the landscaping sector offering anything from simple patios to full garden overhauls.  We work closely with professional garden designers to bring you the dream garden you desire. From simple planting to porcelain patios we can assist.

HP prides itself on its reputation for reliability and professionalism. We undertake work ranging from small domestic landscaping right through to major construction site clearance, civil engineering, building foundations and utilities work such as water and gas.

HP employees hold CPCS cards, Street works Operative and Supervisors qualifications and are first aid trained.

Our personal and friendly approach enables us to achieve good relationships with many different clients, from people wanting domestic work right through to large scale site managers. We believe this gives HP an advantage over many larger ground working / landscaping companies
